I recently stayed at Spice Villa in Tekkeddy, and it was an unforgettable experience! The tree house accommodation was absolutely stunning, blending seamlessly with the surrounding nature. The views were breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere was perfect for relaxation. The owner were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The food was delicious, featuring local flavors that truly enhanced our experience. We enjoyed exploring the nearby spice plantations , Overall Spice Villa is a hidden gem that offers a unique and memorable getaway.

We had a wonderful stay in the tree house. Beautiful accomodation, wonderful food and very kind and helpful staff. We got lots of useful recommendations and assistance from Joseph and Binu - with booking trips and finding things to do - all of which were absolutely spot on 🙏

We arrived late to Spice Villa and had to leave early, but wish we could have stayed longer! The owner and his wife were very welcoming and friendly. The room was excellent, spacious and with a great bathroom, and warm shower. The room was smart and seemed to be thoughtfully maintained and equipped. The location is quite unique, situated fairly rurally, with a balcony facing directly onto a dense forest. Dinner was excellent, lovely home-cooked food! The location is relatively near Periyar national park, making it an ideal and low cost option for anyone hoping to explore that area. The owner also noted that there are nearby trails, which we would have loved to explore had we had spare time. Overall we had an excellent experience at Spice Villa Thekaddy!

Its a Homestay managed by Husband & Wife. Beautiful location alomost half hour before Kumily and situated in narrow beautiful village. We stayed for two days and Owners made sure we are nothing short of Special shout out to there local help Madhav for great service. Room is having all basic necessity what is required and food prepared is exceptionally well Do try there Aloo capsicum.

Stayed in nov 2022. Posting review too late as we came to stay in a similar property in coorg and that reminded us of how fabulous stay we had with Mr Philip. Such a humble human being and such good hospitality. Kudos to him and his wife for all the care and warmth. They might not remember us, but we will always do. God speed to them
